Southside Flyers Dandenong (WNBL) signed 18-year old center Nyadiew Puoch (189cm-2004) for upcoming 2022-23 season. Puoch played this summer at BA Centre of Excellence (Wildcard). In 14 NBL1 South games just recently she had 11.7ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.4apg and 1.9spg.
She represented Australia at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup in Hungary last year. Her team won Silver and her stats at that event were 7 games: 11.3ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.6apg, 1.4spg, 1.0bpg, FGP: 43.2%, 3PT-2 (50.0%), FT: 60.9%.
Puoch has played previously for VIC Metro.
Despite young age she had impressive career. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-World Cup U19 Honorable Mention in 2021.
