Madeleine Garrick (ex Brescia) is a newcomer at Charnay

Madeleine Garrick

Charnay Basket Bourgogne SUD (LFB) strengthened their roster with the addition of 32-year-old Australian ex-international guard Madeleine Garrick (180cm-1992) for the 2024-25 season. She was the second-best scorer at Brixia Basket Brescia in the Italian Serie A1. In 26 games, she recorded very impressive stats: 16.9ppg, 5.0rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.1spg last season. It was a very spectacular year in her career as she was voted to the Eurobasket.com Italian Serie A1 All-Imports Team and Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A1 Second Team. The previous (2023) summer, she played at Libertadoras (LNBPF) in the Mexican league.
She was also a member of the Australian international program for some years. Garrick played for the Australian Senior National Team back in 2017 and previously for the Under 22 National Team in 2015.
She also represented Australia at the FIBA Asia Cup in India seven years ago. Garrick's team won Silver and she had 5 ppg.
Garrick is a very experienced player. She has played professionally in Mexico, Turkey (Botas), and Australia (Boomers, Australian Institute of Sport, Lady Braves, Spectres, and Bendigo Spirit). Thanks to her pro career, she has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and Australia) in four different countries.
Garrick's team made it to the Australian WNBL 2020 Semifinals in 2020, and she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Italian A1 Honorable Mention in 2023.
