Best performed former The University of Texas players in pro basketball in last week games

We bring you last week's top former Longhorns players who are currently playing in pro basketball.

   #1. Experienced Jordan Hamilton (6'7''-F-1990, played in 2009-11, plays pro in Venezuela) led Cocodrilos to a victory over the fifth-ranked Broncos (13-11) crushing them 101-79 in a derby game in the Venezuelan SPB last Thursday. He was MVP of the game. Hamilton recorded 21 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 25 minutes. Cocodrilos de Caracas (18-6) is placed first in Group II. It's Hamilton's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year 13.4ppg, 5.4rpg, 1.7apg and 1.1spg in seven games he played so far.

   #2. Sir'Jabari Rice (6'4''-G-1998, played in 2022-23, plays in Dominican Republic) contributed to an easy victory against one of league's weakest teams Soles (13-11) crushing them 119-79 in the Dominican Rep. LNB on Sunday night. He recorded 13 points and added 5 passes. Metros de Santiago (9-6) is placed third in the LNB. It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row. It's Rice's first season with the team. Rice has relatively good stats this year 12.8ppg, 2.6rpg and 3.7apg.

   #3. Jase Febres (6'5''-G-1999, played in 2017-22, currently in Puerto Rico), who plays in the Puerto Rican BSN could not help Aguada (15-18) to beat Criollos (19-14). Febres recorded 6 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 35 minutes. The third-placed Aguada (15-18) lost 56-67 on the road to the lower-ranked (#3) Criollos in the Group A. This year Febres averages 9.9ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.5apg in 38 games. He is a naturalized Puerto Rican.

   #4. Marcus Carr (6'2''-G-1999, played in 2023-23, plays pro in Canada) was the main contributor in a Vancouver Bandits' victory against the Shooting Stars (12-8) 104-90 in the CEBL last Friday. He was MVP of the game. Carr scored 22 points and grabbed 4 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his second season in pro basketball. The Vancouver Bandits have a solid 14-6 record this season. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Regular Season already ended in the CEBL. It's Carr's first year with the team. This season Carr averages 7.3ppg and 1.3rpg.
