American guard Jonathan Lawton (188-G-1996, college: FSC) was tied for the best scorer of the day in the world with the 41 points he had in the Australian NBL1. Lawton graduated from Florida Southern College in 2019. His excellent performance made his team the Ringwood Hawks edged the Keilor Thunder 96 to 95. Among many awards his college team won the SSC Tournament in 2019. He was also selected as the All SSC Player of the Year as well as the All South Region First Team and the All Americans Second Team back in 2019.
