Eliza Hollingsworth claims Australian Big V Hoops Agents weekly honour

Eliza Hollingsworth (190-F/C-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Pakenham Warriors and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 24-year old power forward had a double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds, while her team beat Wyndham D. (#9, 2-17) 94-85. Warriors maintains the 2nd position in Australian Big V. They are still close to the very top. Pakenham W. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 16-4 record. In the team's last game Hollingsworth had a remarkable 57.9% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Warriors, through which she has constantly improved. Gonzaga University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hollingsworth leads league in rebounds with 11.8rpg. Hollingsworth is in league's top in and averages solid 1.3bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Melissa Prior of Sherbrooke Suns. Prior impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds. Of course she led Suns to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Warrandyte V. (#8, 3-17) 83-59. This victory allowed Sherbrooke S. to move up to 4th position in the standings. Her team's 14-6 record is not bad at all. Prior is one of the most experienced players at Sherbrooke S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Jennie Rintala (188-F/C-1990) of Bulleen Boomers (#5). Rintala scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Rintala's great performance the Boomers lost 65-88 to the higher-ranked Pakenham W. (#2, 16-4). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Bulleen needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 13 victories and 6 lost games. Rintala has a very solid season. In 9 games in Australia she scored 15.4ppg. She also has 7.6rpg and a FGP of 55.6%.
