Baden Basket 54 (SBL) signed 25-year-old Australian 193cm center Darcy Rees (college: Washington) for the upcoming season. She most recently played for South Adelaide Panthers in Australian NBL One. In 9 games she averaged 8.8ppg, 8.4rpg, and 1.1apg last season. She played for Herner TC in the German league last season.
She was a member of the Australian U17 National Team in 2017.
Rees has played professionally in Germany and the UK (Rebels).
She played in the final of English WBBL Trophy in 2024. She was voted to Eurobasket.com British WBBL All-Imports Team in 2024.
Rees graduated from the University of Washington in 2023, and it will be her third season in pro basketball.
