Lamar Patterson, 34-year old American swingman from the Ipswich Force, was selected as the Player of the Year at the NBL One North. He graduated from Pittsburgh eleven years ago. Patterson was also named to the First Team. He was the Player of the Week honoree in the league. Patterson's court vision was unparalleled as he secured the third spot in points per game, delivering an average of almost 29. He also averaged over 7 rebounds per game in the league. Patterson has totalled 12 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 5 games. He registered double-doubles in 4 games during the event. Patterson's 45 points against Mackay Meteors were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 7 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges. He won the Australian NBL1 championship title in 2022.
The standout point guard Tamuri Wigness was honored as the Finals MVP of the championship-winning Southern Districts Spartans. He also earned a spot in the First Team. Wigness' excellent performance assisted his team in beating Brisbane Capitals 2 to 0 in the final series. His consistent performance as a playmaker earned him the fourth ranked in points per game, showcasing average of almost 27. Wigness also had over 6 assists per game that season in the league. He has totalled 18 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 9 games. Wigness logged double-doubles in 3 games at the event. His 37 points against Gold Coast Rollers were the most he scored in the 2025 season. 7 out of the top 10 highest scorers in the league are alumni of US colleges.
Samuel McDaniel, swingman from the Brisbane Capitals, was voted to the First Team of NBL One North. He Is Louisiana at Monroe alumni from 2018. McDaniel's best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the SD Spartans 0 to 2. He previously earned the Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and selected to the First Team last year. McDaniel registered over 24 points and 6 rebounds per game over the season in the league. He has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points on the year and notched 30 or more points in 2 games. McDaniel recorded double-doubles in 3 games at the event. His 38 points against the Ipswich Force were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards he was selected as the Australiabasket All-Australian NBL1 North Player of the Year in 2024. He was selected as the Australiabasket All-Australian NBL1 Defensive Player of the Year in 2023.
Reuben Te Rangi, 30-year old New Zealander swingman from the Gold Coast Rollers, was chosen to the First Team at the NBL One North. He averaged over 22 points and 6 rebounds per game in the league. Te Rangi has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points on the year and registered 30 or more points in 2 games. His 37 points against Rockhampton Rockets were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards he was selected to the Australiabasket New Zealand NBL All-Domestic Players Team between 2015 and 2023. He was also selected as the Eurobasket All-FIBA World Cup Honorable Mention in 2023.
Jalen Graham, American forward from the KK Jahorina Pale, was named to the First Team of NBL One North. He Is ex Arkansas from 2024. Graham had almost 23 points and 9 rebounds per game that season in the league. He has totalled 11 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 2 games. Graham logged double-doubles in 6 games at the event. His 32 points against Cairns Marlins were the most he scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards he contributed to his team making it to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2023. He was selected to the All-Pac-12 Second Team back in 2022.
