Eigner Angels Noerdlingen (DBBL) strengthened their roster with the addition of 24-year-old British-Australian international guard Samantha Ashby (178cm-2001, college: Pacific) for the 2025-26 season. She was the top scorer at Oaklands Wolves in the British WSLB last season, where in 21 games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.8apg, and 2.0spg. She helped them win the regular season and make it to the final. A very spectacular year in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-British League All-Domestic Players Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-British League Third Team. Her team won the English WSLB Cup in 2025.
During the 2023-24 season, she played for the Riders in the United Kingdom. Ashby has been regularly called up to the British Senior National Team since 2023.
She was selected to All-WCC Honorable Mention in 2023.
Ashby graduated from the University of Pacific in 2023 and it will be her third season as a professional player. Her team won the English WSLB Cup in 2025.
