Emily Lytle, 28-year old American guard from the McKinnon Cougars, earned the Player of the Year at the Big V. She graduated from the Virginia Tech three years ago. Lytle also earned a spot in the First Team. She averaged over 8 rebounds per game in the league. Lytle was the Player of the Week honoree three times during the 25 campaign. She led the Big V in points per game with over 22. Lytle has totalled 15 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 3 games. She registered double-doubles in 8 games at the event. Lytle's 36 points against Sunbury Jets were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Her masterful distribution skills earned her the second spot in points per game with an impressive average of over 21. Graham also had almost 6 rebounds per game that season in the league. She has totalled 17 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 3 games on the year. Graham's 30 points against Bulleen Boomers were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Oliana Squires, American guard from the Sherbrooke Suns, was named the Defensive Player of the Year at the Big V. She Is ex the Montana State from 2020. Squires was also selected to the First Team. She received Player of the Week award twice during the 25 campaign. Squires' court vision was unparalleled as she secured the fourth spot in points per game, delivering an average of over 19. She also logged over 8 rebounds per game over the season in the league. Squires has totalled 10 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 7 games on the year. Her 33 points against Bulleen Boomers were the most she scored in the 2025 season. As evident, the league is predominantly led by former college players, with 6 out of the 10 scorers having graduated from US schools.
Courtney Strait, 31-year old American forward from the Bellarine Storm, was chosen to the First Team of Big V. With Strait's excellent performance, the Bellarine Storm achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 19 to 3 in the regular season. Her best performance made her team reach the final but they lost against Bulleen Boomers 55 to 71. Strait was previously named to the First Team last year. She averaged over 17 points and 7 rebounds per game in the league. Strait has totalled 7 games of 20 or more points and notched double-doubles in 6 games on the year. Her 33 points against Pakenham Warriors were the most she scored in the 2025 season. As evident, the league is predominantly led by former college players, with 6 out of the 10 scorers having graduated from US schools. Strait's team was the regular season runner-up in the Australian Big V in 2024.
Eliza Hollingsworth, 24-year old power forward from the Pakenham Warriors, earned a spot in the First Team at the Big V. She Is alumna of the Gonzaga from 2024. Hollingsworth recorded over 15 points per game that season in the league. She led the Big V in rebounds per game with over 12. Hollingsworth has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points and registered double-doubles in 12 games on the year. Her 30 points against the Wyndham Devils were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards Hollingsworth's team won the Australian NBL1 South Regular Season in 2024. She was selected to the All-WCC Second Team in 2024. Hollingsworth was also selected to the WCC All-Tournament Team in 2024.
