21-year old guard Isobel Borlase (180-G-2004) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Bendigo Spirit and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had the game-high 26 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for Bendigo in her team's victory, helping them to beat Sydney (#8, 1-3) 88-75. Bendigo Spirit maintains the 4th position in Australian WNBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Bendigo will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Borlase had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Bendigo Spirit's top player in her first season with the team. Borlase has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.0ppg), assists (8th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 2.3spg.

Second best performed player last round was Mackenzie Holmes (190-F-2001, agency: LBM Management) of Geelong United. She is American forward in her first season at Geelong U.. In the last game Holmes recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as United lost that game 55-62 to Bendigo (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Holmes is a newcomer at Geelong U. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 26.3ppg (#1). She also registered 11.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Steph Talbot (188-F-1994) of Adelaide Lightning (#5). Talbot showcased her all-around game by recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Adelaide Lightning, leading her team to a 73-65 win against Canberra (1-2). The chances of Adelaide not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victory. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Talbot could try to bring Adelaide's a little bit higher in the standings. The season just started for Talbot as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.

4. Courtney Woods (183-G/F-1997) of Townsville - 23 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists
