21-year old guard Isobel Borlase (180-G-2004) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Bendigo Spirit and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
She had a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds, while her team beat Adelaide (#5, 3-4) 82-74. Bendigo Spirit is placed at 2nd position in Australian WNBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Bendigo will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Borlase had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. She turned to be Bendigo Spirit's top player in her first season with the team. Borlase has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 22.0ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 52.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Sania Feagin (190-F-2003) of Adelaide Lightning. She is American forward in her first season at Adelaide. In the last game Feagin recorded an impressive double-double of 22 points and 11 assists. It was enough for Adelaide Lightning to edge slightly lower-ranked Geelong U. (#6, 3-5) by 6 points 99-93. This victory allowed Adelaide to move up to 5th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-4 record. Feagin is a newcomer at Adelaide and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.1ppg (#6). She also registered 7.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Adelaide's star - forward Steph Talbot (188-F-1994). Talbot got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. She went also for nine rebounds and five assists. She was another key player of Adelaide Lightning, helping her team with a 99-93 win against slightly lower-ranked Geelong U. (#6, 3-5). The chances of Adelaide Lightning ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Talbot could help Adelaide to bring them higher in the standings. The season just started for Talbot as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be another team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Isabelle Bourne (188-F-2000) of Southside - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Kelsey Griffin (188-F/C-1987) of Bendigo - 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists
