International Forward Anneli Maley (185-F-1998) had a very impressive game in the last round for Perth Lynx, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 16 rebounds, while her team outclassed Adelaide (#6, 4-9) with 27-point margin 109-82. Perth Lynx maintains the 3rd position in Australian WNBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Perth will need more victories to improve their 10-3 record. Maley turned to be Perth Lynx's top player in her first season with the team. The second best player in last round's games was another Perth's star - young Alex Ciabattoni (183-G-1994). Ciabattoni had a very good evening with 32 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course together with Maley she helped Perth Lynx with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Adelaide (#6, 4-9) 109-82. Perth Lynx's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 10-3 record is not bad at all. Ciabattoni is a newcomer at Perth Lynx, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 10.0ppg (#8). She also recorded 3.3 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Kelsey Griffin (188-F/C-1987) of league's top team Bendigo Spirit. Griffin scored 17 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Bendigo Spirit, leading her team to a 75-67 win against the lower-ranked Adelaide (#6, 4-9). Bendigo confirms their top position in the standings. Griffin has a great season in Australia. After 14 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.4rpg (3rd best). She also has 2.1spg and a FGP of 52.7%. Kelsey Griffin has also Australian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
