International Forward Anneli Maley (185-F-1998) had a great game in the last round for Perth Redbacks and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 65 points and 17 rebounds, while her team beat Willetton T. (#13, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 113-102. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings in West. Redbacks is placed at 10th position in Australian NBL One. Perth R. is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. In the team's last game Maley had a remarkable 77.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. She just recently signed at Redbacks and it was her first game, where she immediately became new team's leader.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Mollie McKendrick (183-F-1993) of Noarlunga City Southern Tigers. McKendrick impressed basketball fans with 38 points and 6 rebounds. Of course Tigers cruised to a 91-81 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Eastern M. (#10, 1-3). This victory allowed Southern T. to move up to 3rd position in Central. Her team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. McKendrick is one of the most experienced players at Southern T. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Emma Clarke (186-F-2000) of Ringwood Hawks (#14). Clarke got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. She went also for fifteen rebounds and seven assists. She was a key player of Hawks, leading her team to a 87-69 easy win against Northern Force (#20, 0-4). Ringwood can only dream about fighting for top spots in South. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Clarke has a very solid season. In 3 games in Australia she scored 21.7ppg.
