Isla Juffermans commits to Charleston- April 20, 2026The College of Charleston signed 21-year-old Australian forward Isla Juffermans (6'4''). The Harbour native played for the last two years at the University of Louisville. Juffermans' team ended the regular season as the second-best team in the ACC in 2026. She helped her team make it to the ACC Tournament Finals and the NCAA Sweet 16.
She played also at New South Wales between 2021-22, BA Centre of Excellence during 2022-23, Sydney Flames during 2023-24, and then at Newcastle Falcons during 2024. Her team won Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA U18 Women's Asian MVP and Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA U18 Women's Asian First Team in 2022. Juffermans helped her team make it to the Australian NBL1 Semifinals in 2023. Her team won Australian NBL1 East Championship in 2024. Juffermans represented Australia at the FIBA World Cup U19 for Women in Spain three years ago, winning Gold with over 10 points per game. She was named to New South Wales Country U18 Team in 2021 and Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asian U16 Championship Best Player in 2022. Additionally, she was named Asia-Basket.com All-FIBA Asian U16 Championship Best Center and First Team in 2022.
