After 3 rounds played we can already see who rules in the Big V and who belongs to weaker ones. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Round 3 most important game was a defeat of Jets (2-1). They were crushed by Warrnambool (1-2) 87-68 on Saturday night. Warrnambool forced 19 Sunbury J. turnovers. It was a great evening for Grace Taylor who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Amy Wormald helped adding 11 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Chloe Hildebrand with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jets will play next round against Western Port trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Warrnambool will try to continue on its current victory against Sherbrooke S. in Upwey.
Storm (3-1) recorded a loss in Tullamarine. Visitors were defeated by Hume City Broncos (2-2) 63-53. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Kelly Heimburger (183-2002, college: Azusa Pacific) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Georgia Keighran accounted for 7 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Courtney Strait (180-1994) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for Bellarine in the defeat. Hume City Broncos will play against Bulleen (#8) on the road in the next round. Storm will play against Warrandyte V. (#6) in Melbourne and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in McKinnon supposed to be also quite interesting. Boomers (2-3) played at the court of Cougars (2-1). Cougars smashed Boomers 105-73 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Maighan Hedge who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Madeline Holland who recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cougars will meet Warrandyte V. (#6) in the next round. Boomers will play against Hume City B. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 3 Warrandyte V. won against Western Port on the opponent's court 102-99. Hume City B. was outscored by Pakenham W. in a home game 45-78.
