American Oliana Squires (175-G-1998) had a great game in the last round for league's leader Sherbrooke Suns and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 27-year old guard had the game-high 26 points adding seven rebounds and three assists for Sherbrooke S. in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Warrnambool (#9, 1-3) with 79-point margin 119-40. It allowed Suns to jump to the first place in the Australian Big V. Sherbrooke S. have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Squires had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Suns, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Montana State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Squires is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.0ppg), assists (8th best: 3.7apg) and averages solid 51.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Kelly Heimburger (183-F-2002) of Hume City Broncos. Heimburger impressed basketball fans with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Hume City Broncos cruised to a 75-65 relatively comfortable win over Western Port (#10, 0-4). Hume City B.'s 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Heimburger is one of the most experienced players at Hume City B. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.2ppg (#5). She also registered 7.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Canadian Olivia Weekes (180-G) of Western Port Steelers (#10). Weekes scored 18 points and grabbed 16 rebounds (!!!). Despite Weekes' great performance the Steelers lost 65-75 to the higher-ranked Hume City B. (#5, 3-3). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Western Port can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 4 games. The season just started for Weekes as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.
