Maddi Geislinger had a very impressive game in the last round for Hume City Broncos and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Hume City B. in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Warrnambool (#10, 1-4) with 41-point margin 90-49. Hume City Broncos is placed at 4th position in Australian league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Hume City B. will need more victories to improve their 4-3 record. In the team's last game Geislinger had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Hume City Broncos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Maddi Geislinger averages just after three games 17.3ppg and 12.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Jennie Rintala (188-F/C-1990) of McKinnon Cougars. She is American forward in her first season at McKinnon C.. In the last game Rintala recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 13 rebounds. Of course she led Cougars to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Bellarine (#6, 3-3) 94-72. This victory allowed McKinnon C. to move up to 5th position in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Rintala is one of the most experienced players at McKinnon C. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Clare Breden (168-G, agency: Crossover Management) of Bulleen Boomers (#7). Breden got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. She went also for five rebounds and four assists. She was a key player of Boomers, leading her team to a 72-62 win against slightly lower-ranked Pakenham W. (#8, 2-4). The chances of Bulleen ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Breden could help Bulleen B. to bring them higher in the standings. Breden has a great season in Australia. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.8ppg (5th best).
