Maddison Rocci's triple-double lands her NBL One Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

International Point guard Maddison Rocci (168-PG-1998) had a great game in the last round for Keilor Thunder, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 27-year old player recorded a triple-double of 32 points adding also 13 rebounds and 12 assists, while her team crushed Kilsyth LC (#13, 4-6) with 21-point margin 92-71. Thunder is placed at 5th position in Australian NBL One. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Keilor T. will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Rocci had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Thunder, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Maddison Rocci has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (7th best: 23.7ppg), assists (3rd best: 8.7apg) and averages impressive 2.7spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Tishara Morehouse (160-G-1999) of Hobart Chargers. Morehouse had a very good evening with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. It was enough for Chargers to edge the lower-ranked Dandenong R. (#17, 3-8) 100-95. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in South. Hobart C. keeps 14th position. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-7 record. Morehouse is one of the most experienced players at Hobart C. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international guard Stephanie Reid (168-G-1996) of league's top team Sandringham Sabres. Reid got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. She went also for six rebounds and ten assists. She was a key player of Sabres, leading her team to a 104-72 easy win against the lower-ranked Ringwood H. (#19, 1-10). Many experts and fans count Sandringham S. as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 9 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings in South. Reid has a great season in Australia. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.5apg (9th best). She also has 2.3spg, a FGP of 56.9% and 3PT: 41.7%.
