Anneli Maley joins Liberty- May 23, 2026
Maley was a member of the Australian international program for some years. She played for the Australian Senior National Team between 2022 and 2023 and previously for the University National Team in 2019. Three years ago, Maley represented Australia at the FIBA Asia Cup for Women in Sydney, where her team won Bronze and she averaged 6 points per game. Maley's career took her to three continents, where she played professional basketball. She experienced life as a pro player in Asia, Australia, and North America. She played for teams in Australia (Sydney Flames, Southside Flyers, Perth Lynx, Bendigo Spirit, and Wildcats), China, and the WNBA team Chicago Sky. In 2026, Maley was voted to Australiabasket.com All-Australian League All-Domestic Players Team. In 2025, her team reached the Australian League Semifinals. Maley graduated from Texas Christian University in 2019 and will be entering her seventh season as a professional player. She also played for the University of Oregon for one year.
