Australian NBL One round 12 best performance: Patricia Brossmann (by Hoops Agents)

German Forward Patricia Brossmann (185-F-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for Perth Redbacks, receiving a Hoops Agents NBL One Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 28-year old player had a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed SW Slammers (#13, 3-9) with 49-point margin 128-79. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings in West. Redbacks is placed at 11th position in Australian NBL One. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 8 games and recorded just three victories. In the team's last game Brossmann had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. She just recently signed at Redbacks, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Patricia Brossmann averages just after three games 20.7ppg, 11.3rpg and 6.0apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young international swingman Courtney Woods (183-G/F-1997) of Townsville Flames. Woods had a very good evening with a triple-double of 28 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Of course she led Flames to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked SD Spartans (#4, 7-3) 104-69. Townsville F.'s 5th position in North has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 6-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Woods is one of the most experienced players at Townsville F. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Erin Bollmann (180-F-1994) of Sunshine Coast Phoenix (#7). Bollmann showcased her all-around game by recording 26 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists (!!!) in the last round. Despite Bollmann's great performance the Sunshine CP lost 79-80 to slightly higher-ranked Northside W. (#6, 5-4). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of SC Phoenix ranking at the top of North, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Bollmann could help SC Phoenix to bring them higher in the standings. Bollmann has a very solid season. In 9 games in Australia she scored 21.7ppg. She also has 8.0rpg, 5.8apg, 3.1spg and 1.2bpg.
