Regular Season Round 3: Albury LB - Hills H. 101-53

Everything went according to plan when Lady Bandits (3-0) outplayed Hills Hornets (1-2) in Albury 101-53 on Saturday. Lady Bandits outrebounded Hills Hornets 44-28 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Brodie-Paige Theodore (167-1996) who led the winners and scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Emma Mahady (179-1992, college: California, PA) accounted for 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Taryn Mahoney (180, college: Miles CC) came up with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Kelsey Curtin added 9 points respectively for Hills Hornets in the defeat. Hills Hornets' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Lady Bandits will meet Bulls (#15) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Hills Hornets will play against Falcons (#3) and hope to win that game.
