There was no surprise in North Lake where bottom-ranked Lightning (0-2) was defeated by top-ranked Hawks (2-0) 89-76 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Mitchell Clarke (186-1999) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Ben Purser (200-1990, college: Augusta) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Hawks' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Dominic Jackson (203, college: TAMIU) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and forward Tom Parkinson (200-1989) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Hawks and five Lightning players scored in double figures. Hawks keep a position of league leader, which they share with 8 other teams.
