Regular Season Round 4: Inner WB - Albury W.B. 111-84
Date: April 1, 2023
Everything could happen in Inner West at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Bulls and 6th ranked Bandits had identical 2-1 record. This time Bulls used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Albury 111-84 on Saturday night. Bulls outrebounded Bandits 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Alex Higgins-Titsha (197-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) and Canadian guard Blake Morrow (193-1996, college: Southeastern) who added 30 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. Morrow is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side guard Lochlan Cummings (189-1995, college: HIU) responded with 22 points and 5 steals (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Shaquille Maharaj (196-1997, college: Camosun) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bulls (3-1) moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Bandits keep the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with Sutherland S. and Keysborough C.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
