No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Giants (2-2) crushed bottom-ranked Eagles (0-4) in Kalgoorlie 117-87 on Saturday. Giants dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Eagles' 46. Giants forced 21 Eagles turnovers and outrebounded them 48-33 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. American players dominated the game. Guard Michael Dupree (185, college: Northwest) notched 29 points to lead the effort and Lafonzo Smith (206, college: Benedict) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Giants players scored in double figures. Even 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots) by guard Justin King (196-1989, college: TRU, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) did not help to save the game for Eagles. Power forward Sebit Reath (208-1998, college: Lee JC) added 24 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
