Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Mustangs (4-3) rolled over 11th ranked Crusaders (3-5) in Terrigal 102-78 on Saturday. Mustangs forced 19 Crusaders turnovers. Forward Matt Gray (203-1999) notched a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Will Cranston-Lown (185-2000, college: Regis Univ.) supported him with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Mustangs' coach Luke Boyle felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 13 points and 4 assists by guard Alex Bailey (183-2002) did not help to save the game for Crusaders. Forward James Trustum (197-1992) added 10 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four Mustangs and five Crusaders players scored in double figures. Mustangs have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Wyndham D. and Keysborough C. Crusaders lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
