Regular Season Round 10: Inner WB - Sutherland S. 100-85

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Sutherland Sharks (5-3) lost to second ranked Bulls (7-1) in Inner West 85-100 on Saturday. Bulls forced 19 Sutherland Sharks turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Naturalized New Zealand guard Tony Tolovae (196-1992) notched 27 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and Canadian guard Blake Morrow (193-1996, college: Southeastern) supported him with 22 points. Morrow is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 22 points and 7 rebounds by Geoff Gerlach (203-1995, college: CUI) did not help to save the game for Sutherland Sharks. American Marquel Beasley (196-1993, college: Fort Lewis) added 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sutherland Sharks' coach tested twelve players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bulls have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with BA CoE. Loser Sutherland Sharks dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Canberra G.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
