Rather predictable result in Palmerston North where Jets (2-2) defeated Giants (0-3) 84-74 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American guard Javion Blake (191-1997, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard Mustapha Heron (196-1997, college: St.John's) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Samuel Dempster (194-1990) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard Avery Woodson (188-1993, college: Butler) added 19 points respectively.
