There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Senators (2-2) rolled over 8th ranked Eagles (2-4) in Perth 87-46 on Saturday. Senators held Eagles to an opponent 21.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.2 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Eagles 56-38 including a 39-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Senators looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Eagles' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Senators made 8 blocks. Forward Mackenzie Clinch-Hoycard (191-1998, college: Hawaii) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Chloe Forster (176-2003) supported her with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists.
