There was a minor upset in Albury where 11th ranked Bandits (3-5) were edged by fourteenth ranked Panthers (2-7) 81-80 on Saturday. Forward Brodie Schwarzer (195-2004) stepped up and scored 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and power forward Noman Massimino (-1998) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Panthers' coach Jarrod Moore used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American power forward Jamir Coleman (204-1997, college: CCSU, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and guard Lochlan Cummings (189-1995, college: HIU) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Panthers moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Bandits dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Panthers will meet at home Spiders (#16) in the next round. Bandits will play against Spiders (#16) in Hornsby and hope to secure a win.
