American guard Kylee Smith (180-1994, college: Belmont) chipped in 25 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Worth to mention Smith played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. Four Lightning players scored in double figures. American guard Makailah Dyer (175, college: N.Dakota) produced 25 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mackenzie Taylor (183, college: Midwestern St.) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lightning moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Canberra N. and Pakenham W. Suns lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with four games lost. Lightning will meet higher ranked Hawks (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Suns will play against Magic (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
