The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked Magic's (4-2) road victory over 8th ranked Suns (3-5) 98-58 on Saturday. Magic forced 21 Suns turnovers and outrebounded them 42-28 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Katharine Tudor (183, college: Oregon St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and forward Carly Boag (188-1991, college: Minot St.) who added 15 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five Magic players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized British power forward Samantha Roscoe (194-1995, college: N.Dakota) with 21 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Natalie Chou (185-1997, college: UCLA) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Magic moved-up to sixth place. Suns lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Ipswich F. and Keilor T.. Magic will meet at home higher ranked Tigers (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Suns will play against the league's second-placed Hawks (#2) in Floreat and hope to secure a win.
