No shocking result in a game in Loganholme where second ranked Thunder (7-1) outleveled 9th ranked Seahawks (3-4) 100-74 on Saturday. Thunder dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Seahawks' 26. Thunder forced 20 Seahawks turnovers and outrebounded them 48-24 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Seahawks' players. South Sudanese forward Majok Deng (205-1993, college: ULM) fired a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 17 rebounds and 4 assists (on 16-of-21 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Shaun Bruce (190-1991) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 6 rebounds, 12 assists and 7 steals. Five Thunder players scored in double figures. Guard Biwali Bayles (185-2002, college: Hawaii) produced 26 points and 4 assists and swingman Joshua Duach (197-2003, college: Iona) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Thunder have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Ipswich F. Seahawks lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with four games lost. They share the position with USC Rip. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
