Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Crusaders (4-10) were outscored by second ranked BA CoE (11-1) in Canberra 84-65 on Saturday. BA CoE dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Crusaders' 34. Center Isla Juffermans (191-2005) notched a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and center Saffron Shiels (187-2006) supported her with 13 points and 8 rebounds. BA CoE's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by guard Darneka Rowe (174-1993) did not help to save the game for Crusaders. Guard Maddison Penn (183-1994, college: UBC) added 16 points and 8 rebounds for the guests.
