Very predictable result in Wollongong where second ranked Bulls (11-2) beat 9th ranked Hawks (6-7) 90-72 on Saturday. Bulls dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hawks' 28 and made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Hawks 50-26 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Chris Bryant (203-1992, college: Miami, OH) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and forward Alex Higgins-Titsha (197-2000) who added 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Bulls players scored in double figures. Bulls' coach Daniel Kim used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard William Hickey (194-1999) responded with 28 points and 4 steals and the former international swingman Tim Coenraad (201-1985, college: Nova SE) scored 22 points. Bulls maintains second position with 11-2 record having just one point less than leader Perry Lakes H. Loser Hawks dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Sydney C.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
