There was no surprise in Narrabeen where 15th ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (2-12) were crushed by tenth ranked Mustangs (7-6) 99-73 on Saturday. Mustangs dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' 36. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Will Mortimore (200-2005) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Will Cranston-Lown (185-2000, college: Regis Univ.) who added 20 points during the contest. American forward Matthew Eldridge (203-1996, college: Lindsey Wilson) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Mitchell Evans (185-1997) scored 13 points and 6 assists. Five Mustangs and four Manly Warringah Sea Eagles players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mustangs have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Loser Manly Warringah Sea Eagles keep the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
