An interesting game for Hawks (11-3) which played road game in Joondalup against 3rd placed Wanneroo (9-5). First ranked Hawks managed to get a 8-point victory 110-102. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Wanneroo. Hawks made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for guard Mitchell Clarke (186-1999) who led his team to a victory with 30 points. Center Andrew Ferguson (213-1998, college: CS Monterey) contributed with 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized South Sudanese swingman Mathiang Muo (196-1987, college: Charleston So.) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and American swingman Bryan Michaels (190-1996, college: Concordia, OR) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Wanneroo. Four Hawks and five Wanneroo players scored in double figures. Hawks maintains first place with 11-3 record, which they share with Frankston B. and Norths B. Wanneroo at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Keysborough C. and Melbourne Uni. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
