Rather predictable result in Melbourne where third ranked Suns (9-4) smashed 7th ranked Camberwell (3-10) 90-62 on Saturday. Suns made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American Porsche Poole (175-1989, college: Michigan St.) who scored 23 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. New Zealand forward Alicia Carline (190-1993, college: Portland St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds. Poole is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Suns players scored in double figures. Suns' coach Chad Burton felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Andrea Belmonte who recorded 7 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and Marnie Houghton added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
