Very expected game when 15th ranked Roar (2-11) was edged by ninth ranked Seahawks (6-5) in Runaway Bay 99-97 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Guard Aiden Krause (193-2000, college: UC Irvine) notched 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and American guard Wesley Harris (203-1997, college: Tennessee St.) supported him with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Even 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by point guard Nelson Larkins (180-1996) did not help to save the game for Roar. American forward Jaylen Key (203-1997, college: New Orleans, agency: One Motive Sports) added 17 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Five Seahawks and four Roar players scored in double figures. Roar's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Seahawks have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Roar lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 11 games lost. Seahawks will meet at home higher ranked Salties (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Roar will play against South West Metro Pirates (#4) and hope to secure a win.
