Everything went according to plan in Morley where seventh ranked Senators (7-6) outscored 9th ranked Eagles (5-12) 109-50 on Friday. Senators dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Eagles' 28. Senators forced 20 Eagles turnovers and outrebounded them 46-29 including a 36-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Eagles' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Senators made 7 blocks. American forward Karly Murphy (185-1998, college: Colorado St.) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals for the winners. The former international power forward Natalie Burton (194-1989, college: WVU) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!). Polish point guard Sylwia Bujniak (170-1996, agency: DC Sports) produced 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Sarah Allen added 10 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Senators moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Eagles lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost.
