The game between third ranked Bulls (9-4) and 7th ranked Sharks (5-9) in Pukekohe on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Bulls outscored guests from Southland 94-74. Bulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a quality performance for American Jared Wilson-Frame (196-1996, college: Pittsburgh) who led the winners and scored 32 points. His fellow American import guard Rickey McGill (188-1997, college: Iona) accounted for 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Bulls' coach Daniel Sokolovsky used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Australian forward Grant Anticevich (206-1999, college: California) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Jeremy Kendle (186-1988, college: Bellarmine) added 19 points and 6 assists respectively for Sharks in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bulls moved-up to second place, which they share with Rams. Sharks lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Hawks. Bulls will meet at home Saints (#5) in the next round. Sharks will play against Airs in New Plymouth and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
