Very predictable result when second ranked Falcons (14-2) smashed on the road 13th ranked Bulls (3-13) 87-55 on Saturday. They outrebounded Bulls 45-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Falcons looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Nicole Munger (180-1997, college: Michigan) who had a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Abigail Curtin (185-1997, college: Denver) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. Four Falcons players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Mikaela Dombkins (181-1986) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds and the former international point guard Leilani Mitchell (165-1985, college: Utah) added 13 points and 12 assists respectively. Bulls' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Falcons have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 14-2 record having four points less than leader Wyndham D. Bulls lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Illawarra H.. Falcons will meet at home North Bears (#4) in the next round. Bulls will play against Spireds (#16) and hope to secure a win.
