The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd placed North Bears' (14-4) road loss to second ranked Falcons (16-2) 74-77 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American guard Nicole Munger (180-1997, college: Michigan) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import guard Mykea Gray (163-1998, college: Miami, FL) helped adding 21 points. At the losing side Austrian center Sarah Schicher (187-1990, college: Dowling) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Jolene Anderson (173-1986, college: Wisconsin) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Falcons. They maintain second place with 16-2 record having just two points less than leader Wyndham D. Loser North Bears keep the third position with four games lost. Falcons will meet at home Hawks (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. North Bears will play against Bulls (#14) and hope to secure a win.
