Very predictable result in Cheltenham where fourth ranked Sabres (14-7) outscored 12th ranked Bendigo Braves (10-11) 105-65 on Sunday. Sabres dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Bendigo Braves' 24. They outrebounded Bendigo Braves 53-28 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ben Ayre (188-1995, college: Newman) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized American guard CJ Asuncion-Byrd (194-1996, college: LeMoyne) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Sabres' coach Rhys Carter felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
