Regular Season Round 32: Newcastle F. - Illawarra H. 2 63-66

There was a small surprise in Broadmeadow where tenth ranked Hawks (11-10) edged 8th ranked Falcons (13-8) 66-63 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Noah Pagotto (191-2005) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and guard William Hickey (194-1999) who added 17 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Forward Myles Cherry (203-1998, college: Lafayette) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 16 rebounds and American guard Anthony Gaines (193-1998, college: Siena) scored 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Hawks moved-up to ninth place. Loser Falcons dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Hawks will meet at home Crusaders (#12) in the next round. Falcons will play against Mustangs (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
