Everything went according to plan when first ranked Wizards (16-3) outplayed 11th ranked Capitals (8-10) in Taigum 101-72 on Friday. Wizards made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Wizards outrebounded Capitals 45-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Amanda Johnson nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and swingman Courtney Woods (183-1997, college: NIU) accounted for 31 points and 5 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Five Wizards players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. New Zealand forward Anna Cameron (178, college: Nevada) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and forward Stephanie Collins (196-1995, college: SMU) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Capitals in the defeat.
