Regular Season Round 33: Willetton T. - Mandurah M. 101-87

Everything went according to plan in Willetton where fourth ranked Tigers (13-6) beat 14th ranked Magic (2-19) 101-87 on Saturday. Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was center Gorjok Gak (211-1996, college: CBU) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Damien Scott (192-1992) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Ray Turner (206-1990, college: Texas A&M) who recorded a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds and the other American import DeQuan Abrom (188-1996, college: Belm.Abbey) added 19 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Magic's coach rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tigers moved-up to third place, which they share with Ipswich F. and Keysborough C. Magic lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 19 games lost. Tigers will meet at home league's second-placed Buccaneers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Magic will play against Lightning (#8) and hope to secure a win.
