Everything went according to plan in Bunbury where third ranked Tigers (16-3) outscored bottom-ranked Slammers (0-20) 98-47 on Friday. Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Slammers' 30. Tigers forced 26 Slammers turnovers and outrebounded them 61-38 including a 26-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Slammers' players. The former international swingman Alexandra Sharp (182-1997, college: Wake Forest) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. Bosnian Melisa Brcaninovic (193-1999) chipped in 27 points and 6 rebounds. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. Javene Fitch produced 10 points and 6 rebounds and Kate Williams added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Northside W. Loser Slammers still closes the standings with 20 games lost.
