The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hoiho (3-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Kahu (3-2) 67-59. It was a great evening for American forward Iimari Thomas (178-2000, college: UCLA) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds. The former international guard Tera Reed (183-1998, college: USC) helped adding 13 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Ashten Prechtel (196-2001, college: Stanford) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 21 rebounds and 5 blocks and the former international forward Zoe Richards (182-1997) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Hoiho's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kahu are looking forward to face Pouakai (#5) in the next round. Hoiho will play against Whai (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
