An interesting game for Kahu (9-3) which played road game in against 3rd ranked Queens (6-6). First ranked Kahu managed to get a 12-point victory 87-75. Kahu made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Queens' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Iimari Thomas (178-2000, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Tera Reed (183-1998, college: USC) who added 17 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five Kahu players scored in double figures. American guard Chrislyn Carr (165, college: Louisville) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Stella Beck (183-1995, college: SMC) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Queens' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kahu have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-3 record. Defending champion Queens keep the third place with six games lost. They share the position with Whai.
