Date: October 20, 2023
Leader United delivered the sixth victory on Friday night. This time they beat 9th ranked Hawks (1-4) 101-91 in Gwynneville. United looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Togolese-German center Ariel Hukporti (214-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and the former international swingman Luke Travers (200-2001) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five United players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Gary Clark (198-1994, college: Cincinnati) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Tyler Harvey (194-1993, college: EWU) scored 19 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. United have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-1 record. Hawks lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with four games lost. United will meet league's second-placed JackJumpers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
